Currently, we are up to 16 house cats. The house is designed for the comfort and pleasure of the cats. Hoping it will keep them out of trouble. For example, there are 7 cat trees and a massive amount of toys just in the living room. People have asked what determines where a cat Is placed. Kittens are always started in the house and many times don't get moved. Sometimes we find a cat that wants to go outside really badly so they will get moved. We have had 3 kittens that started spraying when they became adults and were moved outdoors to the sanctuary enclosure or cat room. If we take in a cat that loves freedom and outdoors they are placed in the sanctuary. Feral cats are placed outside in the sanctuary enclosure also.
