Joanie was 1 of 4 cats that only had one eye. They were all in the Los Angeles area. We saw them on Facebook and they needed new homes. This started the ball rolling and we ended up taking 15 unadoptable cats. They were driven nonstop from L.A. to Crescent City. What a drive. Joanie and many of the others are extremely shy of people. Joanie is beautiful and I can get within a few feet of her but she can't be touched. She is happy here with the others.
