Our current situation can change daily. Cats can come in and out daily because of adoptions and intake of new cats. In any given month we may be housing between 55 to 90 cats who have come to us from varied living conditions. The maximum cats we have had was 130 and the average is probably 69. The amount changes drasticly during "kitten season." During this time of year we can have unaltered female cats with kittens or about to have kittens. Most of the time it seem we get kittens without moms which means sleepless nights due to the need to bottle-fed the babies for about the first 4 or 5 weeks.
